What you’ll take away

This is not a conventional leadership course filled with content-heavy lectures.

Hosted in Sri Lanka and conducted in English, the School of Leadership brings together leaders from across sectors and borders for a highly interactive, retreat-style experience that blends reflection, conversation, and practical tools. It is a thoughtfully designed experience that focuses on connection, clarity, and courage.

After three days, you will be able to:

Facilitated by internationally experienced leadership specialists who have offered this content in Cape Town, Berlin and London, this programme creates a warm, reflective, and engaging environment where your best thinking can emerge. In addition, we are committed to doing all of the above in a beautiful environment with easy access to nature, while enjoying deliciously made food and connection with fellow participants.

 

What does the programme cover?

All Anew programmes are deeply relational and experiential, and are not taught classroom or lecture-style. Each day includes time for reflection, meaningful conversation, peer dialogue, and personal planning. Here’s what you can expect thematically on each day of the programme:

Day 1 | The World You Lead In & The Purpose You Lead With

  • What does the world feel like right now—and how does it impact leadership?

  • How can you make sense of your role in the midst of uncertainty and change?

  • What is your deeper purpose and vision as a leader, and what becomes possible when you reconnect with it?

Day 2 | Creating a Thinking Environment

  • How do you create the conditions for clear thinking, insight, and calm presence?

  • What gets in the way of living and leading from your purpose?

  • What do you need more of, internally and externally, to lead with greater impact?

  • How can you create a Thinking Environment where you lead?

Day 3 | Building Your Personal Leadership Brand

  • What is your leadership brand, and how do others experience you?

  • How can you cultivate trust and credibility in your organisation or context?

  • How can you expand your influence and strengthen your support networks?

  • What next steps will support your growth in the months to come?
